The ESI IP Server 900 phone system features support for SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). This allows network administrators to monitor the IP 900 equipment in real-time over the network. While SNMP is a common standard with wide support, and therefore the IP Server 900 can be monitored from a variety of management programs, SNMP Monitor for ESI IP Server 900 is ready-to-go and in most cases only needs to be configured with an IP address. It features graphing (see below) as well as email alerts for such things as hardware modules going offline, line or voice mail port usage exceeding a certain threshold, etc.
